Privacy & analytics

We use Google Analytics only after you choose Allow analytics. It records page visits and basic tool actions, including the website and action name. We do not send your files, text, form values, or generated results. Your choice is stored in a shared ToolWoven cookie for six months. Select Analytics settings in the footer to change it. Google may process analytics data under its own privacy policy.

Files and saved options

CSV files and pasted text are read and processed only inside your browser tab; they are not uploaded or stored. Commafield remembers your option choices (selected task, clean-up steps, output separator and table view) in this browser’s localStorage under commafield.prefs.v1. File names and file contents are never saved. Clear your site data to remove the saved options.
